The Sony HXR-NX1 NXCAM is a professional camcorder that has three Exmor ™ 1 / 2.8 inch CMOS sensors for exceptional picture quality. Double media slot allows simultaneous recording or relay in AVCHD 2.0 format. There are two models available: one saves on the default 1080 / 50P model (Model PAL) and the other on the 1080 / 60P model (Model NTSC). There is also a Slow & Quick Motion feature that achieves slow motion 2x slow motion while recording at 25p or 50x quick motion when 1 frame per second is recorded in 50p model (PAL Model) or 30p or 60x quick motion when 1 frame per second is recorded in 60p ( Model NTSC). In addition to the 20x optical zoom, Clear Image Zoom with Super Resolution Technology delivers a long 40x zoom range with excellent clarity and detail and no effective pixel loss. Built-in LED lights, WiFi / NFC remote control capability, and a larger 3.5-inch LCD panel for enhanced display. All of the features add to the versatility of this multi-purpose camcorder, providing a finely sophisticated touch of system that offers unprecedented freedom of video recording. This camcorder is recording using AVCHD 2.0 format, with framerate up to 60p for smooth motion recording. 60i and 24p modes are also available. You can also record in DV format, letting you insert a camcorder into an existing DV workflow. You can choose to record simultaneously on both cards, or use the relay mode that automatically switches to the second memory card when the first card is full. Two card slots can be controlled independently of two separate record buttons. The HDMI output connector provides a 4: 2: 2 uncompressed 8-bit signal when shooting for use with external recorders.
